At a Group Workcamp, you and your young people will experience Christian service on the front lines of the real world—and grow closer to Jesus! It’s amazing what a little hard work with new friends can do in the lives of your youth. It’s a faith-building adventure they’ll never forget.

At a Group Workcamp, youth will learn valuable skills doing home repair—basic carpentry, roof repair, painting, and drywall. All they really need is a willing heart…the rest can be learned.

There’s something very powerful about serving others in need. It changes how you think. When you develop a relationship with someone in need—you change. You see people in need as real people—rather than just “the poor or needy.” You develop friendships. And with a little guidance from the camp program and you the youth leader—your youth will take great leaps of faith and character.

Group Workcamp projects are usually within a one- or two-day trip from your church. But they’ll take you and your youth to the extreme. You’ll help families who can’t afford, or aren’t able, to do the work you’ll provide. With each project, you’ll experience the rewarding impact of sharing your Christian faith through your actions, in the real world.

It’s amazing what happens when your students encounter new places, cultures, and different ways of life. They’ll develop closer relationships with each other, with you, and best of all, with God. As a result you’ll come home with a new sense of unity, understanding, and respect for each other.

You’ll experience a great balance of Christian service, faith, and FUN! Youth group members tell us how serving in itself is fun—along with meeting new friends. This isn’t “all work and no play.” You and your group will have a great time!
